A striking ceramic box scrawled with abstract lines covered in silver on top with silver droplets of mist covering the blue sides by Kondo Takahiro enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Jigen Jikiro. It is 14.5 x 8.5 x 7 cm (5-3/4 x 3-1/4 x 3 inches) and is in perfect condition.

Asa (hemp or ramie) baby boy's ceremonial kimono, whose wefts and warps are hand plied. It is worn by a newborn baby about one month later of the birth, on the occasion of "Omiya-mairi" that is the first visit to the local shrine wishing for the healthy growth. It is not actually worn but put over a baby. It is hitoe (no lining) kimono, so that it is used in summer. It has beautiful wave and crane motif which is hand painting. In excellent condition. First edition Japanese shin hanga woodblock print by Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995) titled in kanji and English "Cherry Blossoms by the Gate" and dated in the left margin 1951. An antique Japanese Tansu chest (called Ryo Biraki Isho Dansu) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron handles. A pair of hinged doors open to a set of Kimono and accoutrement drawers. Hardened wooden nail construction. Optional iron stand can be added for additional height.

Age: Meiji Period (1880-1890)

An antique Japanese Tansu chest called a Gyosho Bako (peddler's chest) made of Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware. Two pairs of rings on each side used to rope the Tansu to carry on ones back for peddling wares from town to town. The front hinged door secures 7 drawers used for inventory storage.

Age: Edo Period (1800-1850)
