This print does not appear in Kawase Hasui: The Complete Woodblock Prints. We could find only one other example.

Limited edition Japanese silkscreen over metal leaf by Kazutoshi Sugiura (b. 1938) depicting an ikebana arrangement titled "Iris No. 48" dated 1985. Pencil-signed, dated '85, titled in kanji, and numbered 32/100 in the bottom margin. Paper: 20” x 12 1/2" (image: 17” x 9 3/8”). Excellent original condition.

A Japanese boxwood netsuke depicting the poet Ono No Komachi. Excellent fineness of the details of the carving to simulate the grain of the wood on her trunk where she is sitting leaning on her cane with her long hair partially covered by her hat, next to a bamboo container. Signature engraved within Keisai reserve. Meiji period 19th century Sizes: 2,9 x 4 x 2,2 cm. Condition report: Good condition

An original Japanese color woodblock print by the artist Keisai Eisen (1791-1848), in oban yoko-e size. Depicting two women walking in the snow along the Sumida river. Condition: very good impression, still good colors, centerfold, lower rim with few small wormholes, slightly soiled, laid down at upper corners in matt. Dimension: 23.8 cm x 37.8 cm.

Keman in cut bronze gilded with mercury. Decorated with flowers and Karyobinga (winged musical deities). Keman are hung in Japanese temples and replace bouquets of flowers. Usually Kemans are only decorated with flowers. The one presented here is exceptional with its 4 karyobinga cast in relief and riveted on the copper plate cut with flowers.
