An interesting and modern vase of raw, hard-fired clay with natural fire pattern by Terada Teppei (b. 1975). The gaping, irregular sprout stricking outline some sort of volcanic vent. Shaped as a bamboo root, it is one of the “Carbon trapped” series. Signed on the bottom: Fe (Teppei’s signature on his carbon-fired pieces).
