Japanese large Cast Iron Tetsubin, Tea Kettle, Iron Tea Pot with Brass Cover, Ca. 1910, 11 1/2" high include handle, 6 3/4" high and 6 1/2" wide include spout for tea pot only, even textured body with very high relief design wide edge rim, and Brass cover rest into fitted lower rim. The loose Brass knob is repaired, shaped handle is metal, rust inside the pot.

Old red lacquer on black iron back plates are still visible. Small hole on the lower left side of bottom frame. The condition is original as found condition.

Large open space under the hinged top is for storing Scholar's utensils. Push the small button on the side lock compartment to lift up the top. Two(2) drawers have black iron ring pulls. The condition is good, no damages. The black finish is original.

Rare Japanese Celadon Tea Bowl, which was made by one of the greatest Japanese potters of the 20th century, Ryūzan Aoki (1926-2008).

The seal of the potter is stamped on the bottom. The original wooden box with the signature of the potter & his profile are also included.

Aoki Ryūzan was born in Arita as the eldest son of a porcelain merchant. In 1951, he graduated as a Nihonga-style painter from Tama Art College...

Cement mortar block print pencil-titled "Poem 71-82" (indicating production in 1971) by Maki Haku (1924-2000). Limited edition print numbered 40/202. Pencil-signed in the lower margin. The artist's square red seal is at the lower left corner of the image. This print features the highly embossed ideographs characteristic of Maki's work. The designs were created by inscribing on wet cement. Paper size: 12"V x 8 3/4"H (image size: 10 1/2"V x 7 1/4"H). Very good overall condition...
