His face is painted in red lacquer with black facial hair, and gold-lacquered eyes typical of a demon. The insides bears the usual rough chisel markings of a finely hand-carved piece. Sold, Thank you! A pair of root-wood geese carvings 10 x 4 x 3 inches (24 x 10 x 9 cm) and 6 x 3 x 8 inches (14 x 6.5 x 20 cm) respectively. There are some minor losses around where the feet are attached to the natural form polished wood bodies, otherwise are in fine condition.
