€6,200.00 Very beautiful and rare scene in ink and natural color pigments on a background of gold leaf and gold spangles of a Chinese scholar surrounded by students or disciples. He is leaning on a table where his tablets, brushes and a basket are placed. He observes a flight of wild geese over a rocky mound, a pine tree and a body of water that ripples among the reeds. Edo period late 18th early 19th century.

€650.00 Noh theater mask, representing the character of Shintai, a youthful deity, with a rather soft expression. The mask is signed (see pictures). Painted wood, with metal eyes. Japan, Edo period early 19th century. Height: 21 cm. The mask is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Slight abrasion on the painting in some areas, otherwise very good condition.
The size of Plate: 5 5/8" Dia x 1 1/16" High.
This is beautiful Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain plate with Dragon and Ho-O bird design intricately painted in deep cobalt blue. There is also the clouds and Ho-ju design. There is marking on the back of plate. The condition of plate excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. One little spot on the rim has thin blue paint as showing on the photo. The surface of blue and white glazing area painting has little raised finish. Dating from 1800-1830's...

The material is thick cotton in Edo period. Textile seems to be hand spun and woven¡It is very impressive, and beautiful. You can wear it.
There is a little, thin stain. However, there is no damage, and the state is very good. It recommends it for your collection.

$360.00 This hemp Kyogen costumes hakama was used by Kyogen actors in the Edo period(1800-1867).
The light green color is dyed by mixing natural bark and indigo dye.It's a very natural and beautiful color.
This hemp is hand spun. Round flowers and maple patterns are impressive.
This one has some wear and tear due to age. There are several small holes here. Recommended for antique textile collections.

$2,500.00 Tsuba in shakudo decorated with a floral basket flown over by butterflies. Inlays (Taka Zogan) in solid gold, in fact the flowers are not in gilded copper as usual but in cast solid gold. The nanako background is particularly regular and deep. The artist used gold of two shades, a pure yellow and a pale yellow probably due to the addition of platinum or silver. Anonymous despite the excellent quality.

This stoneware dish is an andon-zara (or abura-zara), an oil lamp dish. It was made in the early 19th (or possibly late 18th) century, during the Edo period (1615 - 1868). It is particularly heavily-potted and has a flat, slightly concave base. It is coated in a crackled glaze and decorated in underglaze iron-brown, the pattern featuring three stylised flowers above what may be a fence. To the top right is an area of green glaze...
