Two Chinese blue and white porcelain plates with lobbed rims. The center painted in deep underglaze blue with a lady and a dancing boy in a fenced garden, the border showing female figures under a willow, flowering trees and geometric patterns. The back with ruyi heads and scrolls. Dating to the early 18th century (Yongzheng period 1722-1735). Condition: fine, only the centers with minimal tiny wear - no hairlines or restorations. An antique Japanese Ikebana bamboo basket designed as a baluster shaped vase. Large bamboo slats interwoven with other delineated free form smaller slats. 18/19th Century Chinese gilt lacquered wood carving of a seated immortal temple statue. There is some rubbing of gilding, chips, peeling of lacquer, stains, cracks, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos). Worth noting is the well rendered facial expression, the hair is still intact in the ears and mustache, and the details in the clothing. Measures 9 inches high.
