An extremely rare and lovely small blue and white censer, finely and well balance potted, decorated with the classic three friends of winter, these are pine, bamboo and prunus scroll appear with orange peel between the border of glazed and unglazed area in very good condition, no any chip, no any crack excepted the age sign of broken bubles and minor fritting. Rare Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted White Pottery Earth Spirit

This rare and very nice example of an "earth spirit" was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a high-fired creamy-white pottery that has been cold-painted in coloured pigments, traces of which still remain. What makes this example exceptional is the high level of detail to both the back and front of the creature.

Chinese Tang Dynasty Pottery Lady (AD 618 - 906)

A small, but nice example of a pottery model of a female courtier, often referred to as a "fat lady", made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). Made from a relatively high-fired reddish pottery with traces of the original cold-painted surface pigment.

Height 16.75 cm (6.5 inches). It is in very good condition with no sign of restoration or repair.

Group of Seven Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Bowls / Spoons / Dish

For sale as one lot: a group of seven attractively decorated Chinese blue & white porcelain items dating from the 19th to the 20th century, comprising four bowls with flared rims, each bearing a mark to the base, two spoons and a small dish.
