A rare tomb gift from the Song Dynasty, made of red pottery, covered with green, brown and yellow glaze. The crawling position probably shows that this lady is worshipping the deceased person. A set of five sake cups, each engraved with a unique poem by the artist/nun Otagaki Rengetsu dating from her 83rd year enclosed in an antique Sarasa cloth pouch with silk pads between enclosed in an old wooden box. They are each 5 cm (2 inches) diameter and all are in excellent condition. The poems read:
1 Wakabae no yanagi no ito no mijikaku te furiwakegami no kokochi koso sure
The newborn willow fronds are short and feel to me just like bobbed hair
2 Umazake no miwa no sugi z...

Extremely rare underglazed copper red pear shaped bottle vase decorated with cranes flight among chrysanthemum scrolls flanked by Lotus petals scroll to the neck and bottom part. Wonderful condition with no any crack, no any chip and free from any restoration. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th century. Height: 25 cm

A Magnificent and Rare one of the large blue and white dish decorated with flower spray to the center showed with "heaping and peeling" effect and the cavetto incised with a pair of Dragons below classic scroll to the rim. Underside with continuously very beautiful Lotus scrolls. The upper wall with six characters "DA MING XUAN DE NIEN ZHE". Condition is perfect, with no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Ming Dynasty 15th Century Xuande mark and period. Diameter: 39,5 cm.

Small flask or vase in the shape of a double gourd. Thin and fine, whitish stoneware covered in translucent glaze, decorated in overglaze, colored enamels and gold with a cord and tassels and maple leaves floating on a sinewy stream.

Unsigned/unmarked. Kyoto (Kiyomizu) ware.

A quite rare square shaped bowl decorated with flower to each side and inside is plain with obviously Qingbai tone. Xuande six characters mark and possibly of the period. Ming Dynasty 15th Century in very good condition, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration excepted a bit fritting to the mouth rim. Diameter: 9,1 cm X 9 cm Found recovered at South Sulawesi area.

Cotton girl's kimono with auspicious motifs, such as plum blooms, bamboos, pine trees, which are kata Yuzenzome (stencil-resist dye and colored by hand), and hand painted turtles and waves. The ground cloth is benibana (safflower) dye which is very precious. Safflower has been grown in Yamagata prefecture in Tohoku district. An inviting poem for the 8th month is engraved among the leaves and grapes clinging to the vines forming the handle on this tall ewer covered in pale white glaze by Otagaki Rengetsu dating from the 19th century. It is 22 cm (9 inches) tall, 13.5 x 19 cm across the handle and is in excellent condition. The poem reads:
Okazaki no tsuki mi ni ki mase
Miyakobito
kado no hata imo nite matsura nan

An extremely rare blue and white bowl decorated with continuously peony scrolls to exterior, flower head medallion to the interior center under Persian cobalt blue. Diameter: 19,5 cm. Very rare bowl and please see the similar one in the Cleveland Museum of Art visible on enlargement 9, the other at National Palace Museum Taipei Taiwan visible on enlargement 10.
