A Pair of Small Chinese 19th Century Cantonese Porcelain Vases

A close pair as opposed to an exact pair, these two small pear-shaped vases were made during the 19th century. They are quite "heavily-potted" and attractively decorated in various coloured enamels and gilding, the patterns featuring butterflies and birds as well as various flower blossoms and foliage.

Small Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Jar

This small blue & white porcelain jar dates to the 16th century. It is quite heavily-potted with a relatively wide body and has a flared mouth. It is coated in a thick crackled glaze. The underglaze blue decoration features a scrolling floral pattern and a star pattern around the shoulder.

Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Longquan Celadon Moulded Porcelain Jarlet

This small porcelain jar was made during the 13th – 14th century, most likely at one of the Longquan kilns in Zhejiang province. It has been made in two moulded sections, each with decorative floral patterns, upper and lower, that have been luted together at the waist prior to glazing. The fairly wide concave base remains unglazed.
