A sculptural pair of exquisite celadon lidded bottles by Yagi Akira enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Seihakuji Kaien Koro. The striated rings are mobile, and can be spun to change the appearance of the Koro. A nearly identical work is held in the collection of Yakushiji temple. Slightly distorted Ao-Oribe Chawan with a rounded brim, made of light, coarse, unrefined Mino clay. The expertly thrown body was trimmed with a potter's knife in its lower part around the foot ring.

The foot ring is typical for Oribe bowls produced around 1610 at the Motoyashikiki and other kilns. The kamajirushi '<' kiln mark beside the foot ring underlines this once again. Such old and spectacular Oribe bowls are usually only viewable in museums.
