Large Chinese jade boulder, carved with scene of mountain pavilion with figures and pine trees, beautiful green color with orange rind. VIntage c1960. Size of jade: 7 1/2" high 9 1/4" long x 2 3/4" thick. On wooden stand: 9" high x 10" wide x 4" deep.

Antique Korean duijo (grain storage trunk), with nice elm wood panel on front, opens from top to large compartment, with traditional Korean lock and key, 19th century. Size: 37 1/2" high x 38 1/4" wide x 27 1/2" deep.

This piece is almost identical to the work submitted by the artist to the 7th Nihon Dento Kogei Ten in 1983 (featured as item number 116 in the catalog for that year) and indeed, shares the title Hi-iro In-mon Tsubo (Flame-Colored Stamp-Patterned Tsubo). It measures 34 cm (13-1/2 inches) diameter, 29.5 cm (12 inches) tall and is in excellent condition.

A well carved large Chinese nephrite early 19th century jade Camel with young. Legs are tucked below the body. Very refined in the carving and details. Underside  and through the tail and sections details are evident that this comes from master carver. Very good original condition.   Light coloring green to white jade with light brown spots.  Very good original condition. A very well painted Chinese hat stand. This would be considered transitional late Qing 1906-1911 to pre 1920, my guess is that it is just after the Qing period. The colors and enamel painting feature the God of Longevity with boys at play. Beautifully painted tree with flowers at bloom. The condition is perfect with exception of minor gold rubbing, other than that it is perfect and ready to display. Measures 11" high x 4.75" across

This is Meiji beni-shibori silk jyuban kimono textile of the Meiji era(1868-1912). The motif is dyed in a dyer's saffron with a cherry tree. It has pole a few stain and damage. However, I do not stand out. It is very beautiful. The lining is angular momentum crimson silk. size:136cm x 123cm (53.5" x 48.4")

This is beni-itajime katazome silk jyuban kimono textile of the Meiji era(1868-1912). The motif is dyed in a dyer's saffron with a cherry tree. Other parts are rinzu silk. It has pole a few stains. However, I do not stand out. It does not have damage and is very beautiful. size:146cm x 123cm (57.5" x 48.4")

A very finely carved Huang Yang ("Boxwood") figure group depicting Lu Xing, one of the three Daoist Star Gods. On the back is carved the seal mark of Jing Fu who was active in China during the Republic period (1912-1949) and who was the first student of the famous Huang Yang wood carver Zhu Zichang. There is a very similar carving by Jing Fu in the collection of Wen Zhou Museum, Zhejiang Province - we will be happy to email a link to the carving in the museum on request. Antique Japanese large lacquer fumibako (letter box for paper), beautiful design of silver hydrangeas flowers with gold lacquer leaves on top and sides, black lacquer with nishiji (gold fleck) ground, interior with the same black lacquer and nishiji ground, underside of lid with dramatic gold makie lacquer scene of young pine sprouts and grass, Meiji Period. A large silk painting of a scene from the history of Japan by Kai Seihyo (1882-1974), one of Japan's noted painters specializing in historical subjects. Kai Seihyo was trained at the Tokyo University of Fine Arts. It was later in Seihyo's life where the artist began producing unique historical subjects and received high acclaim where Seihyo was known for his paintings of samurai and horses. A richly patinated carved wood figure of a seated drum playing musician. This item was made in Bali, circa 1900-1940, during the first half of the 20th Century.
