Rare and large bronze shrine. The central figure is a Jina or Tirthankara. He is surrounded by small Jina's on the back plate. Each of the 24 Tirthankaras is represented by an animal or a symbol. There is an engraved animal on the foot of this shrine, but it is hard to distinguish which animal it is. A very good example of Duck figure in Sancai glaze of Ming dynasty 15th/16th century, Swatow family wares. Small Chinese jade water coup carved in the form of a lotus leaf with a flower set on the bottom forming a base. A large underglaze blue decorated vase, very finely painted in 18th Century style with bands of plantain leaves, key fret and ruyi above the Bajixiang (eight Buddhist emblems) amongst cloud scrolls. On the base is the six character seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795) but this item was made later, in the 20th Century, probably during the Republic period (1911-1949). Chinese porcelain vase decorated with scrolling strings, peaches, and bats. In some areas, the vase contains the stylized character for happiness. The bottom of the vase contains an inscription reading: Guang Xu Nian Xing. Age: 19th-20th century. Size: diameter 9.5" height 13.5"

Jade carving of a bat spreading its wings on one side and on another side a coin shaped motif. Bats are considered to be an auspicious animal where the name is synonymous to fortune in Chinese. The coin contains a four character engraving possibly reading: Fu Shou Quan Shuang, or roughly translated as having both fortune and longevity.
