Rare and endearing figure of a young boy disciple of Quanyin (the Goddess of Compassion) wearing a garment etched with a lotus flower - the symbol of Buddhism. He is often depicted near Quanyin with his hands in reverential prayer. The bronze is heavily cast and has wires imbedded underneath the pedestal, perhaps for attaching to a group of figures. Chinese snuff bottle made of 2 color overlay red on translucent peking glass. Of a flattened globe form, with a tapered neck with jadeite stopper. This bottle has hand-carved red peking glass figures of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals.

A large Chinese ceramic vase of a classic green tea dust glaze, with rich glaze "drips" along the inner rim and just above the foot, which is left bare along its edges and its recessed center glazed in tea dust. The vase has an angular form with concave neck and foot, with different sets of characters on its front and back in relief.

A very rare nicely moulded vase with a long ribbed neck that flares to a hexafoil rim. The hexagonal body is moulded with bands of flowers. The lower band has alternating patterns of lotus flowers and lotus leaves. There are two lion masks at opposite sides at the shoulder. The vase is covered in a light olive-grey glaze. Period: Yuan - 13th/14th Century Size: Height = 14.4 cm (5-11/16 inches) Condition: Tiny barely noticeable chip at the rim of the mouth otherwise perfect.

A circular qingbai porcelain box of compressed drum shape with neatly lobed sides and a slightly concave base. The domed cover has a concave top, which is mould-­impressed with small chrysanthemum flowers. Both the exterior and interior of the box and cover are coated in a thin, translucent bluish­-white glaze, leaving the rims and base unglazed, exposing the sugary white body, which has some brown and black firing marks. Chinese Zitan hardwood brush pot hand carved from solid heavy Zitan wood. Dramatic foliate edges and interior are nicely detailed. The zitan shows "gold threading" with the grain of the dark hardwood.

A large Chinese brush pot hand carved from solid Zitan hardwood. The brush pot has a cylindrical natural form with interesting root texturized edges. An unusual scholars brush pot holder. The zitan shows "gold threading" running with that of the dark grain.

Japanese zenibako (money safe box) made with Keyaki (zelkova) burl wood in original red lacquer finish. The zenibako is fitted with brass hardware including side handles in a mokko (melon) motif. The hinged lid has a large front lock plate with matching key, and a calligraphy inscription on the underside. The interior of the zenibako holds two open compartments.

Japanese two section tansu made with Kiri (paulownia) wood. The chest's four front drawers feature large, round Kiri wood mon (family crest) motif lock plates , while the Warabite style drawer pulls have small pierced plates below them in the style of a crane mon. The bottom section holds a small corner safe door with two small drawers inside.

A very rare white porcelain Song qingpai ewer with a clear pale bluish glaze. The body and shoulder of the vase have skillfully executed free-flowing scraffiato designs of florals and leaves.
