The jade is deeply carved with grooves that are filled with hammered pure gold. Simple decoration of stylized flowers and leaves, probably tulips. Ottoman Empire, circa 1650–1750. This cylinder was probably an intermediate element between the stem and the mouthpiece, probably made of amber. Good condition, no restoration. Some missing inlays visible in photos.
