This is a Tsutsugaki yuzen day Kimono that was used in the Kyoto area during the Edo period. The landscapes and people are depicted in an idyllic style with the fine lines of Tsutsugaki. The colors are hand-painted with Yuzen-some. The fabric is made of cotton for the warp and tsumugi silk for the weft, giving it a rustic feel. There are no damages or stains. A very unusual vase by Yamamoto Ichiyo enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Jun Purachina-sai Banshu. The flattened form is wrapped in dark gray with brilliant flowering vines accented with gold and platinum surrounding windows containing colorful birds perched on Autumn and winter branches. It is 24 x 11 x 23.5 cm (9-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 9-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition.

Chawan tea bowl of Ido-shape, made for the traditional tea ceremony. Thinly turned, light weight stoneware, almost cylindrical, Ido-shaped (with slightly angled hip) of dark brown color, covered with a cream colored glaze that is slightly yellow on tanpan natural green glaze splash that has turned into a flambé blue in the pooled sections of the green.

Very rare ancient temple bell, made of gilt bronze, beautifully decorated with stylised lotus designs in relief on the upper parts. The bell clapper is made of iron. Height: 13.7 cm. Rare Noh theater mask representing the character of Deigan, who is an adult woman transformed by her strong jealousy into a demon spirit which is about to manifest itself. It is 4 inches (10.16 cm) tall measured with stand and 3.1 inches (7.87 cm) tall measured without stand by 7.5 inches (19.05 cm) wide. It is 1406 gram measured with stand and the censer is 1060 gram.
