A striking glass bowl which defies explanation by important female glass artist Iwata Itoko enclosed in the original singed wooden box. Made like the feathers of a peacock, each blue flourish contains a round bead of air marking the eye of the feather. Incredible! It is 15 cm (6 inches) diameter and in excellent condition. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of her chawan, as she produced very few and only in the last years of her life...

Impressive antique Kuro Raku Chawan, over 100 years old, by great artist Rintaro Ohashi with family crest. The bowl was made in Taishō era 8 (1919), its also written on the inside of the lid. I comes with the originally signed and sealed wooden box.

Japanese Meiji period woodblock print triptych by Utagawa Kokunimasa (1874-1944), aka Ryua, titled “The battle between Japan and Russia at Seoul” depicting troops landing on the Korean peninsula at the start of the Russo-Japanese War. The print was published by Fukuda Hatsujiro and is dated in the cartouche at the lower left 2/1904. Signed at the lower right "Ryua" and with the artist's red "Edokko" seal below. Each of the three panels measures 14 1/2" - 14 5/8" x 9 3/4" (paper size)...

Kake-fukusa, a gift cover, used on the occasion of auspicious events. It is made of tapestry weave silk with two performers motif, one is wearing Daikoku costume with a gavel. Two men look Kado-tsuke, strolling musicians or performers who play dancing and music in front of houses and get some money. A fine pottery koro in typical milky white glaze supported by three figures in russet red by Okuda Mokuhaku dating from the mid 19th century. It is 13 cm (5 inches) diameter, 11.2 cm (4-1/4 inches) tall. There is a chip in the rim, otherwise is in excellent condition. It is stamped on the base AKahadayama followed by a circular seal reading Mokuhaku. t comes in a simple wooden box.
