$90.00 Furoshiki (wrapping cloth) with tsutsugaki kamon (family crest), Maruni-Yotsume. It is made of hand spun cotton and vegetable indigo dyed. It has indigo color bleeding in the kamon. It is not sure whether it is original dye, or bleeding from washing, however, it gives some depth and taste. Generally in good condition but has some breaks and some tiny holes. Late 19th to early 20th century.

The outside is cotton katazome (stencil-resist dye) with plant motif, vegetable indigo dye. W:64cm, L:69cm Late 19th to early 20th century. From Tohoku district.
