The interior wall and rim decorated with repeating pattern and karakusa (scrolling vine and leaf)...

A fine Japanese blue and white porcelain dish. The foliate rim with chocolate brown glaze, the white porcelain body and glaze, and the fine attention to detail all suggest Kakiemon type. The cavetto with decoration of flowering plants including peonies, prunus and others. The center decorated with a bird (perhaps a flycatcher) in fruited branches, rockery and bamboo leaves below...

Pair Japanese Nabeshima Porcelain Dishes with underglaze Blue Thistle with Red flowers, Ca. 1890, Meiji period, 4 5/8" diameter, 1 1/4" high, very thin crispy porcelain dishes with delicately decorated with Thistle plants, with fine exact comb high feet and double Peony floral sprays on 2 sides under the dish. One(1) dish is glued together lower area about 2 1/2" long on the wind swept Thistle decorated area. The other dish is in fine condition without any damages.

Japanese Imari Porcelain Vase, Ca. 1868-1912, Meiji period, 12" high, 6" wide-widest measurement, 3" diameter-top rim, overglaze design of Bamboo, Maple, Pine and flowering trees inside the two cartouches, and Peony flowering tree wrapped around by stylized Peacock feather inside the other two(2) sides, all decoration are done by overglaze Imari colors on top of the underglaze blue, and highlighted in gold. The condition is good, no damages.

Japanese Imari Porcelain covered Serving Bowl, Ca. Meiji period, 1868-1912, 5 3/4" high, 9 3/4" diameter-widest measurement, with typical Imari overglaze decoration of egret, Foo Dog playing with balls inside the shaped enclosures on top of underglaze blue decoration with highlighted in gold, small sand kiln dots inside the bowl, no damages.

Japanese Imari Porcelain covered Serving Bowl, Ca. Meiji Period, from 1868-1912, 5 3/4" high, 9 3/4" diameter-widest measurement, with typical overglaze decoration of red double fish, flying Phoenix Bird on top of various shape and design of underglaze blue decoration and highlighted in gold. Underglaze blue mark on the bottom, there are small few oxidized kiln dots inside the bowl, no damages.

Japanese Kutani Porcelain Plate, Ca. 1930, 8 1/2" diameter, with orange red overglaze design of pair of birds in the lake and highlighted in brilliant gold decoration, red mark on the bottom. The condition is good, some gilt decorations are worn on some areas, no damages.

Japanese Imari Porcelain Double Gourd shape Vase, Ca. Meiji period, 1868-1912, 12" high, 1 3/8" diameter-top rim, 7" wide-widest section, 4" diameter-bottom rim, flying Phoenix bird and dragon inside four(4) separate round circles, and Mon design inside the top round circles, all decorate with typical overglaze red and underglaze blue, highlight in gold. Top rim has rough area with old tiny frit.

Japanese Kutani Porcelain Sake Cup Washer with Cover, Ca. 1910, late Meiji period, 5 1/4" high with cover on, 6 1/4" diameter-top rim, overglaze scenery of bridge over the river, and country houses and Pink Cherry Blossom trees decorated and highlighted with brilliant raised gold decoration. It looks like the pig walking on the bridge with flag? The Bowl is resting above the attached three(3) wide legs, all in one(1) piece. Signed in red "Kutani" on the bottom. The condition is good.

The size of Dish: 5 1/4" Dia x 1 3/16". Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Dish. The dish has pretty Sakura(cherry blossoms) design on the side wall with gold and red. There is Fan and Karakusa motif, plus square landscape design with Fuji Mountain, pine tree, and plover birds design. It is rather simple yet it has classy looking design by using nice composition. The condition of dish excelelnt, no chip, no crack and no hairline...

The size of Imari Bowl: 6 1/4" Dia x 2 1/8" H.. This is unusual design of geese flying with gold cloud and moon over Susuki Grass(Japanese pampass Grass and wild flowers.) The design like Ogata Korin's. The inner border with red band with gold. It is deeper than regular Namasu bowl and little bigger. Outside bowl has nice Karakusa design in blue under glaze and lavender color painting. The condition of bowl excellent, no chip, no crack, and no hairline. No scratch on the surface...

A beautifully shaped miniature bell with simulated chord looping through the top, half lifting off to reveal a compartment for storing incense. A ball inside the lower section actually rattles around like a real suzu-bell. This is a very unusual and superbly crafted from from the Mino area of Edo Japan. The inside white clay is darkened with age, and the outside infused with color gathered with time...

Japanese Imari Porcelain Octagonal flared out shape Bowl, Ca. Meiji period, before 1900, 10 1/4" wide, 4 1/4" high, with Pine and floral design in rich overglaze enamel in 4 separate panels, other 4 panels have fruits with seeds in underglaze blue, all highlighted with brilliant gold throughout inside and outside the bowl. Gold design is worn on top of the rim slightly, no cracks, no restorations, no damages.

Japanese oribe ware tall vase for ikebana (flower arrangements), with calligraphy inscription in front. Circa 1950, bottom marked "Nishikawa Kyomo", "made in Occupied Japan".
