Japanese Satsuma Earthenware Vase, Ca. 1920, early Taisho period, "Hotoda" signed, 6 1/2" high, 4 3/4" wide include handles, fine detailed decoration of Dragon and Rankans between nice fine gold background. The condition is good.

Japanese Satsuma Earthenware Koro, Incense Burner, on Tripod feet and two(2) Elephant Handles, signed "Senzan", Ca. Meiji period 1910, 5" high include Foo Dog top, 6 1/4" wide include 2 handles, ladies and Gentlemen in Japanese traditional clothes within several circles between multiple bands of flowers, Gold Foo Lion knob and 3 heart shape openings on top. The condition is good except tiny frit inside the rim on the bottom piece.

An interesting pair of Japanese Arita saucer form dishes decorated in a transitional style incorporating elements of the Kakiemon style, notably the asymmetric elements within the reserves to the outer rim of the dish, with Katamono style motifs dating to the late 17th century or early 18th century made for the domestic market. A rice bowl and its accompanying cover cum small sauce dish dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century decorated entirely in enamels with gilding. The exterior of the bowl and cover are decorated with a turquoise green brocade ground which is intended to simulate a Chinese enamelled scrafitto pattern of the period...

Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery tomb figure depicting a male attendant with short beard and mustache dressed in a belted gown and wearing a red hood. 8 3/4" high. Very good overall condition with cold painted facial features and much original pigment remaining. Typical losses. The flat base is sightly slanted so the figure does not stand upright without a support. From an old Tucson, Arizona collection. Purchased from a California gallery in the 1990s.

Thinly potted, there is a tiny chip in the rim, otherwise is in perfect condition; exceedingly rare for this type of pottery...
