A Huali wood covered box was preserved in a very good condition.
By sound structure and well track-moved lid, the wood box was yielded with charming brownish patina on the surface inside and out.
Darken hue was accumulated in portions due to enduring age.
In quite good size, it was used as a storage box for scholar’s utensils.

Antique Chinese fan with two lovely women hand painted on feathers. The body of the fan appear to be made of bone. The colors of the peacock feathers are beautiful.The light reflected in gold (frame), took away the age. All and all, It has more antique look than shown in the photos. A decorative fragment taken from the cuffs (horse-hoof shape) of a summer silk dragon robe with five clawed front facing dragons (couched pure silver wrapped threads) on a fish net like gauze weave. Each dragons appears to be wearing headdress. The cuffs from each sleeve are sewn together in the center and the borders are silver brocades. Circa, first half of 19th century. Approx. 19" x 15 1/4"

Large Chinese basket, tall stacking carrying basket, made of bamboo with iron handle, three compartments, outfitted with removable glass top so that it may be used as an end table or stand, the basket has a large character on the top and woven patterns on all sides, the tiered basket sits in a large bamboo frame with handle, Republic Period. This is a very rare round hole coin known as a Yuan, as identified by the single character on the right. Yuan was a city in the state of Liang in ancient China. This coin has not been acid treated nor artificially aged, it is well worn and has the verdigris that is natural and impossible to scrape off by conventional means. These range in size and weight from 41.2 to 43 mm, and range 8.8 to 10.7 grams). Condition is fine. Date: about 300 B.C.E. Warring states period...

Description:

A Longquan cup was in rarely-seen Chrysanthemum shape.
Finely mold and was applied with pale green agate-feel glaze on the surface, the cup was stand on a small foot ring which in slightly everted wall.
A molding navel was in the center of the foot ring when darken brownish tint was revealed at the body clay.
Glaze crackles and obvious incursions were happened to the glaze.

The cup was finely shaped and was well glazed as those documentary counterparts...

Description:

A bronze Buddha of Ming Dynasty was well preserved with fine gilding condition on the surface.
By darken sheen and with very limited abrasion on the ridges of the carvings, the Buddha was kept in a perfect condition except loss of the undercover.
Red protection slip was painted inside the hollowed inner side.

A stone turtle was in an amusing look.
By simple carving lines, the turtle was vividly depicted.
Enduring through long time of age, the decorative lines were blurred.
But the overall condition was perfect.
