This is a very fine and beautiful antique Chinese SILVER card case with double sided diffrent scenes. One side depicts a gentleman reading books with his friend in the private garden, there is a maid serving the tea and snacks, and another guest is coming under a guard's lead. Up for sale is an uncut antique Chinese silk brocade weaving with green ground; the yardage was made for a Han Chinese's wrapped skirt during the Qing dynasty, it was woven with different scenaries, mountains, pagodas, bridges, etc. with polychrome silk floss and gold thread; excellent condition, no wear, a label with name of the silk manufacturer is woven on the bottom. 19th Century Century Chinese Famille Rose Kwan Yin Buddha on Lotus Seat
The Kwan yin is 9.65 inches (24.5 cm) by 4.75 inches (12 cm) wide. The lotus stand is 4.3 inches (11 cm) tall by 6.1 inches (15.5 cm) wide. Overall height is 14 inches (35.5 cm). She weighs 4.3 lb.
It is in good condition except skip glaze, chips, hairline cracks and the flower petal has been glued back (as seen in the photos).

Pages very lightly browned, mostly at outer edges, binding fragile but in place.
