A rare mirror black "famille noire" enamelled jar and cover depicting two birds perched on a branch of iron red flowering prunus blossom over green enamelled rockwork. This item is decorated in late Kangxi style (circa 1700-1720) but it was made later, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there is a hairline crack to the cover (please view enlargement 9); the jar itself is in excellent condition with no damages and no restoration...

Chinese Famille Rose Plaque Screen with Landscape Temple Scene on Huanghuali Wood Frame & Hardwood Stand, Circa 1950's

It is 26.7 inches (68.1 cm) tall by 15.7 inches (40.2 cm) wide with stand. The panel is 18.2 inches (46.3 cm) tall by 14.1 inches (36 cm) wide. The total weight is 18.1 Lb.

It is in good condition with no repairs, except small chips and cracks at the frame.

A small finely carved hardwood panel, with gold lacquered border, depicting a Scholar on a bridge in a mountain landscape and encased in a silver wire inlaid frame. The panel and frame were made during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - the frame has been crudely re-glued and would benefit from restoration； the panel itself is in excellent condition with no damages or losses. The frame - 22.3cm (8.8inches) high; 10.6cm (4.2inches) wide...

Description:

A Longquan bird-feeder was in lovely size and was in shape of a lotus bud.
In favorite lake-green tint, the vessel was revealed at the bottom with rough-feel body clay.
It was preserved in very good condition with limited glaze frets happened during manufacturing or under incursions.
It was a rare piece from which some similar ones were in the collection of the Palace Museum of Beijing(see last two photos).

Southern Song/Yuan periods, 11th-13th century...

Antique Chinese cloisonne clock, made of bronze and inset all over with beautiful cloisonne, oval shape base and top, stands on 6 feet, surrounded with 10 cloisonne columns (5 on each side), original glass doors on front and back, clock face painted with tiny flower garlands, glass door in back reveals pendulum and mechanism which still seems to function smoothly, c. 1900. Size: 18 1/2" high x 13" wide x 6" deep.

Chinese clock made of brass with cloisonne, six cloisonne columns, on the front behind glass is the clock face and a small oval shaped painting of a country scene with a lake and mountains with trees in the foreground, on either side of the clock are painted grecian style figures, a small oval plaque on the back is stamped with "Made in People's Republic of China", size 12" high. Size: 11 1/2" high x 8 3/4" wide x 4 1/2" deep.

Chinese Bridal Bamboo Basket, with Red Lacquer trim and handle, made during later part of 1800's to early 1900's, 19" high with handle and 7" high without handle, 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" wide, oval shape. Beautifully handcrafted basket. No damage.

Chinese Bamboo woven Food Basket with Bamboo handle, 19" high with handle, 13 1/2" x 7 1/2" wide, made later part of 1800's to early part of 1900's, with three(3) tiered compartments. Some of the Brass decorative buttons are missing. Bottom of the handles on both sides have carved Monogram "S" and very fine Bamboo weaving with many detailed different patterns on the entire surface.

Chinese Bamboo woven 2 compartment Food Basket with handle and black Iris ink painting on top of the lid, and clear lacquer finish on the entire basket. Ca. early 1900's or later part of 1800's, 17 1/2" high with handle, 14" x 8 1/2" wide. All the parts are in place, nothing is missing. The basket is in good condition except wood joint have separation on the bottom of the trays, caused by the dryness and age. Maker's mark on the bottom in black.

A rare large jar with drum shaped, covered overall with smooth creamy white Ivory glaze. Song/Yuan Dynasty. Possibly Cizhou type in perfect condition. Mouth Diameter: 21.5cm and Height: 18cm.

Chinese Cinnabar Scholar Water Coupe, 19th Century

It is 1.8 inches (4.8 cm) tall by 3.1 inches (8 cm) wide. It is 0.15 Lb.

It is in good condition with no repairs, chips or cracks, except minor peeling of lacquer (as seen in the photos).

A nice Qing dynasty double gourd vase, covered overall with copper red glaze. Underglaze blue 'Da Qing Qian Long Nien Zhe' mark on base, but possibly later to 19th century Guangzhu period. Condition is near perfect, only found one firing crack line to the lower part body, otherwise is perfect. Height: 32.5cm.

A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all. It comes with a well formed lid that is beautifully designed. 7 inches high without lid (8.5" with lid) x 7" diameter.

Chinese Song dynasty chrysanthemum form bowl with moulded radial grooves emanating from a circular center. The bowl is covered overall with an unusual glaze (possibly qingbai or celadon with significant burial adhesions) that stops well above the unglazed knife cut low foot. 4” diameter x 1 ½” high. Very good overall condition. The tiny areas at the rim where the glaze does not cover the body could be from the original production...

A front Mandarin square dating from the second half of the 19th century. An insignia for an imperial censor, showing the white mythical beast "xiezahi" or "xiezhi" with its dragon head and single horn. Standing on a rock above deep water, the ground with auspicious emblems. Made of silk tapestry (kossu, k'o-suu) with metallic threads and painted details. The background was probably covered by peacock feathers, rarely survived to the present days. Sewn together and lined with blue silk...

Rare Serpentine-Jade Bird Feeder from China. Fine condition and very good color. Size: H. 1 1/8" x W. 2" including ring which enables locking the bowl securely by inserting a small bamboo stick through the holes on the outside of the bird cage.
