Description:

A black-glazed stem cup was uniquely mold with decoration on the surface with thorn-like pattern.
It was a transition from early periods and was also a counterpart of metal wares of persian cultures which had been introduced into China 6th-8th centuries.
It was an one-of-a-kind piece but was not odd to the pottery cultures of the periods.
Foggy-look incursions were happen to the glaze in a subtle way.
The body clay was in grayish white tint...

A Han dynasty bronze hu vase. Raised on high, cupped foot. The body cast with three grooves bands around the circumference and below the girth. Another three grooved bands (one smaller) above the girth. Two mask handles with loose rings (original to the vase) on opposing sides of the shoulder. One larger grooved band under the rim. Condition sound with the vessel of solid casting, no active rust and good patina...

Antique Chinese carved dark red cinnabar covered box. The cover, with slightly convex top, intricately carved with four figures (two standing and two seated) in garden landscape with architectural structures and tall hills in the background. The carved flower motif on the sides of the cover also appearing on the sides of the bottom. The underside of the bottom with a repeating, star pattern centering a rectangular reserve now missing a cartouche. The bottom and cover with metal rims...

Chinese Qing dynasty scholar’s pear-form monochrome porcelain bud vase with wide mouth covered overall in a Junyao type purplish blue flambé glaze that extends into the interior. The slightly recessed base is brown washed. The wood stand and padded silk presentation box are included. Early 19th century to possibly late 18th. Vase: 3 1/2” high x 3” diameter. Silk presentation box: 7 1/2"L x 5"W x 4 1/2"H. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs...

The Guanyin seated on a lotus throne, accompanied by two attendants. At the back of the figure there is an opening where offerings or religious texts were kept. This piece is 35 cm tall and dates from the 18th century. Condition: paint loss, worm holes (treated), age wear, an ornament missing at the top of the back plate. From a Dutch private collection.

Large Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period bombe form censer (incense burner) with flared rim decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with three horizontal rows of zhuanshu "shou" (longevity) ideographs extending around the circumference of the bulbous body. A key-fret border is above the calligraphy and a petal border is below it. Two underglaze blue concentric circles are on the recessed glazed base.
