Two Chinese carved openwork hardwood boxes; the rectangular forms each with hinged covers: one with scene of deer, the other with qilin, each framed with openwork foliate border; and each with three covered compartments to interior; with iron lockplates and wire handles; L: 14 1/8" (each approx.)

Antique Chinese silk robe, made with light burgundy silk fabric, edged in gold embroidered silk. The backside is ornately hand-embroidered with auspicious objects and symbols within flaming rings. The central image is a large yin-yang outlined by gold embroidered scrolls. With some areas of wear. Some fading and losses.

One nice set of cup/stand was well mold.
It was applied on the surface with persimmon glaze. The body clay revealed was whitish gray tint.
Both were in old feel.

A Chinese scholar's calligraphy brush rest, composed of mixed metals, in the form of a dragon resting on clouds. The hollow underside shows patina from oxidation.

A lid for an urn vase, coffee or chocolate brown glaze with Famille rose enamels in leaf-shaped reserves. Chinese so-called Batavia or Capuciner brown ware, early 18th century. Diameter 3¼" / 8 cm, the inner rim to fit a vase or urn opening with a diameter of 1½" / 3,9 cm or more. Condition: fine.

Lidded box, a soap box of quatrefoil ogee shape. Decoration of a garden family scene and a Qilin procession in the soft Famille rose colours of the Tongzhi period but later, probably c 1920. Stamped Tongzhi mark to the base, and a Beijing shop sticker. Length " 4½/ 11 cm, height without the handle "2/ 5,5 cm. Condition: slight wear (cf. pics).

Statue of Buddhist god Wenshu --- also known as Bodhisattava Manjusri --- in formal attire, wearing diadem and jewelry, his hands holding the stem of lotus flowers resting on each shoulder, sitting in "bhadrasana" on his lion, the lion itself crouching on a stylised lotus base. Bronze, with encrusted dark green patina. China, late Yuan/early Ming dynasty. Height: 18.8 cm. Very good condition.

It is the decoration and this really brilliant cobalt blue that makes this jar to an realy extraordinary nice example of an Qing Dynasty blue and white vase / jar. Qing Dynasty, late 18th. century. H.: 9,4 cm. Diameter: 8,7 cm. Condition : Perfect.

One old cup in floral form was in type of Song Guan ware .
Crackled glaze were covered on old-feel body clay.
One firm touch-up was at footring. Not obvious and was only on the glaze.

This is a Qing Dinasty, Flattened, Rectangular form tapering towards base snuff bottle, with rounded shoulders, rounded straight neck, and raised rounded rectangular footing.
