DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique Chinese tobacco pipe, elegantly crafted from a long bamboo stem lacquered in red and black. The tip (bit) is carved from a pure white nephrite jade stone that is tapered and then flared to form the lip. The bowl and shank are crafted from silver metal, and bands of brass rings decorate each end. This pipe is in excellent condition and dates from the latter Qing Dynasty. DIMENSIONS: 17 ¼” long (44 cm).

Antique Chinese carved jadeite snuff bottle. The stone is speckled with variations of green including small striations of a brilliant apple-green color. The flattened globular formed body is carved with peony flowers on one side and lotus blossoms and birds on the other.

The statuette has a auspicious meaning of “連生貴子 - continuous birth of noble sons” （quote from Terese Bartholomew's book "Hidden Meanings in Chinese Arts). Qing Dynasty. A small Chinese porcelain plate decorated with famille rose enamel depicting a foo dog playing with a colorful ball. A six characters Qianlong mark is on the bottom and it was made in the period. The Plate is in perfect condition. Diameter: 6".

Song Dynasty Jun ware brush shaper or brushwasher. This was originally the base of flower vase which was later reworked into a scholar’s object. The brown clay indicates this was fired in Henan and in my opinion is representative of the kind that was acquired for the Imperial Qing collection rather then the more typical bowls and saucers. The top surface has more discoloration and minor scratches which indicates, that the repurposing was done some time ago...

He is placed on a rectangular podium and wears a fine robe in matching blue and turquoise glazes.

The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details.

A pair undone antique Chinese sleeve bands, bordered with a black band and green cotton lining. The wine-red silk ground finely embroidered in Pekinese stitch, some detalis in satin stitch and couched metal threads, showing figures, maybe immortals in a landscape. Dimension: c. 111 cm x 37.5 cm. Condition: fine, only few stains.

A Chinese silver goblet embossed with a continuous scene of figures and horses set against a background of pavilions, mountains, pagoda and trees. It is raised on three entwined bamboo branches. This is a high quality object of vertu, the figures have human faces with features- look for a laughing old man with animated face. The details are fresh and sharp, the composition very elegant . size: 21 cm high. age: Qing period. condition; very good, no breaks , no restoration, high points good...

Circa 1850, rare Chinese Rose Mandarin serving dish in the shape of a pomegranate. In excellent antique condition with very little surface wear, it measures 6 inches x 5 inches.

A very rare figure of a Tang lady seated on a barrel stool in a long robe and large hairdo gently holding a dog. Original Tang figures look beautiful at all angles. Made of a fine red colored clay, it was originally painted but the slip and color have worn away revealing only the clay underneath.

Condition: The original head had broken off when found but has been re-attached.
