Chinese rock crystal scholar's brush washer. Carved into the form of a large heavenly peach with twisting leaves and branches bearing smaller peaches. A small monkey is carved hanging onto the edge of the large peach, in a playful frog like pose. The reticulated carved brush washer rests on two small carved peaches as the feet.

Dimensions: 6" x 4" x 2" Height

The stone has a lustrous patina and has a very dramatic ‘splash’ of red on both sides. It has never been carved with a designation and the base has now a shallow flake as a result of an impact on the edge, with a little powdery material showing. Further along there is a tiny bruise to the edge. These could be taken out by reducing the length by 0.4cm. Personally the chip does not worry me...

Chinese late Qing dynasty (19th century) front-opening Han style lady's jacket embroidered on the front and back in silk polychrome thread with clusters of flowering plants and butterflies on a dark cobalt blue silk satin ground. Much of the embroidery is executed with the “forbidden stitch.” The sleeve bands are similarly embroidered with flowers and Buddhist swastikas on a white silk ground. Three round floral metal buttons secure the front opening and silk closures secure the neck...

Chinese sumi-e calligraphy on hand-made paper by French artist Jacques Decaux (1918-2003) titled "White Bird and Clouds do Fly Together" dated 1984. Decaux was a resident of Taiwan and a member of the Taipei Art Guild. Framed with 100% archival materials and UV Plexiglas in a black lacquer frame. A Rare Han Dynasty large oval glass bead in shades of very pale blue to dark sky blue. Most of the front side of the bead has developed an intriguing beige patina. There are bi-toned (dark green & light blue) curvey line designs which are imbedded in the glass surface. The light blue line is now iridescent with age. The bead has two holes in the center for stringing.

The best one of Tobi Seiji Qingbqi glazed jar and original cover I ever had, decorated with formation of triple brown spots surrounded the body and cover. The glazed is absolutely pristine and very clean like new from the kiln site, really a gem from Chinese ceramics. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th century in excellent condition, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Height: 6,8 cm.

A very rare ewer of Tang Dynasty (618-960), decorated with artistical freely scrolling of brown and green glazed on pale brown body. This decoration is remind us to the shipwreck where founded in Belitung area which most of all is bowls, very fine ewer in my collections. Condition is perfect near excellent even reached 1000 years. A Chinese sacrificial-red (ji hong) glazed stem bowl. There is a six-character Da Qing Dao Guang Nian Zhi mark inside the bottom of the stem foot, but it was probably made in 20th Century. There are heavy scratches inside the bowl, no other flaw beside this. Diameter: 7"; height: 4".
