Vest made of tiny bamboo beads and all hand-strung with cotton threads. It was worn till early 20th century (Quin Dynasty) as an underwear of silk garments, especially in the southern China or neighboring countries. It made a wearer keep cool and avoid the outer garment wetting by sweat. Generally in good condition but almost 30 beads are missing. 19th to early 20th century. 48cm x 52cm

A LIAO DYNASTY Terracotta Tsa-Tsa Votive Buddhist Plaque, China, AD 907-1125, with fine details. Nicely mounted on a wooden base. From a group of varied tablet sizes that were excavated, most likely from the foundations of an ancient Buddhist temple, placed there to ensure success and prosperity. Condition very good. Size 2.5" (6 cm.) No restorations. whatsoever.

A Chinese Canton enamel bowl and saucer finely painted with lotus scrolls on a ruby-red ground and some golden highlights. The underside of the quatrefoil shaped dish with two coiled dragons. Condition: some stress hairlines, the base of the dish with a small flake. Fine - regarding the age and delicacy of the material. Please consult the photos, they make part of the condition report. A nice stout wine jug with two handles at the wide shoulders. The two handles have deliberate cuts at the tops, probably to tie rope for securing the stopper. The brownish black glaze covers the jar to about 2.5 cm from the bottom.

Condition: A couple of tiny glaze chips at the mouth's rim. The glaze is not degraded and still has a nice gloss.

A creamy white jade "bi" pendant with natural mottled brown and amber coloration. The shape is not a flat disc (bi) but of a rounded disc shape and comes with a blue glass melon bead. Chinese ceramic arrow form vase, with thick green crackle celadon glaze and wide squared mouth. An arrow vase is a type of vessel used for the game Touhu in which players would throw arrows into the cylinders attached to the sides of the neck.

Chinese antique small display shelf with stand, made of hong-mu. A staggered shelf in the middle breaks up the square area. The front and sides of the unit is carved with delicate lined details and cusped edges. On each side of both the top and bottom shelf is a little window (four total) and the back is open. The underside of the base has a black lacquer panel painted with a butterfly and chrysanthemums.
