$795.00 A superb quality matching pair of large pottery figures a female attendants, dating to Ming Dynasty, 1400-1500 AD.
The figures are placed on high hexagonal plints and wear a fine two-colour blue and turquoise glazed robe. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details. The heads are attachable, as often seen on the largest figures from this period. Both figures hold a plate in front of their chest... An interesting an artful Chinese glazed pottery figure of an Equatian dignitairy dating to the Wei-Sui period - 386-618 AD.
He is dressed in a robe and wears a hat, sitting as if the horse has just being brought to a halt. wiht a determined expression on his face. Size: The figure measure 29,4 x 24 cm. Condition: A choice figure with wear for type and age, and some nicely done restoration. Much original glaze still remains... Height approximately 33 cm. There are cracks at the base, but they are not visible on the inside of the base, only visible on the outer surface. In good condition.
Diameter approximately 11 cm. In good condition.

Dragon's Pearl
$600.00 A fine root wood figure depicting an aged Daoist Immortal, holding a ruyi scepter in one hand and standing on a high rock surrounded by waves in an imaginary sea . The head of the Immortal is partly carved while the body and partly the stand are naturally shaped. Made of two parts fixed together. Ming Dynasty, 17th cent. H. 20,5 cm. Condition: very good patina with some wear .

Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain bowl with high foot decorated around the circumference with three blue and white landscape roundels set against a robin’s egg (lu jun) ground. The unglazed slightly recessed base has a central aperture leading to the hollow interior of the foot.
