A fine root wood figure depicting an aged Daoist Immortal, holding a ruyi scepter in one hand and standing on a high rock surrounded by waves in an imaginary sea . The head of the Immortal is partly carved while the body and partly the stand are naturally shaped. Made of two parts fixed together. Ming Dynasty, 17th cent. H. 20,5 cm. Condition: very good patina with some wear .

Chinese hinged triple snuff or medicine bottle made of silver. One side depicting immortals, the reverse with Chinese characters. The stoppers worked en suite, two bottles with spoon. All bases with silvermark. Condition: traces of usage. Dimension: c. 4.2 cm high, total width: c. 6 cm, weight: c. 47 g.

An antique Chinese Coromandel screen in 3 parts made of hardwood with lacquer and hardstones. Depicts a pair of nursemaids watching over the Imperial children at play.

Made for export for the European market possibly for use as a fireplace screen.

Antique Chinese cabinet made of jumu (elm) wood with natural finish. The two doors open to a large compartment with a shelf. The interior has traces of original deep red lacquer finish. Nice patina and beautiful wood grain over all.

Two Chinese Qing dynasty hardwood carved panels with tabs at the top and bottom indicating they likely were originally inset into a larger piece of furniture. Each panel features a bat above a central double-happiness symbol flanked on both sides by ruyi forms. Gourds hang from vines. The slightly smaller panel includes a deer at the center bottom. Beautiful Chinese antique vase, 18th century (Kangxi Period, 1662-1722). It is sculpted in double gourd shape and painted with various scholar scenes and glazed in white and blue. Continuous scenes depicting figures in a landscape are a common motif in Transitional porcelain, they often referenced popular plays, histories or poems.

Very fine Kangxi mark on the bottom.

Enamelled copper dish. Decor, in the center, of a palace scene painted in enamels of the "Famille Rose", surrounded by a deep Sèvres blue on which Chinese emblems stand out in gold and in silver armfuls of flowers which have lost their shine, silver having oxidized over the centuries...

Chinese ceramic Buddha, circa 1900-1930 (Qing – Early Republic). The iconography is quite unusual there is a seated Buddha image on the chest, standing Buddha image on the back, and another image of the Buddha in Parinirvana reclining pose. Overall a very intriguing piece, possibly meant for export to another Asian nation. Excellent original condition- no cracks, chips or frits. H: 15cm/6in and W: 9cm/3.5in.

Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) Lushan kiln tripod stoneware coupe with two thin upright handles covered entirely in a dark brown speckled glaze apart from the lower part of the unglazed feet. A large phosphatic splash is on both the front and back. Small bosses are spread around the circumference of the widest part of the body to imitate bronze examples. 6 1/4” diameter by 4 1/4" high...

A pair of rare 19th C Chinese hand carved hardwood, possibly Hong Mu wood, Scholars desk trays in a large lily pad leaf design with flower heads. Each being slightly different, one has a bird’s head and the other a nice protruding stem between the flower heads, they were made to be displayed together. These were finished with a mix of beeswax and a few other natural concoctions the Chinese used to seal the finish and give it a great mellow sheen...

Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain bowl with high foot decorated around the circumference with three blue and white landscape roundels set against a robin’s egg (lu jun) ground. The unglazed slightly recessed base has a central aperture leading to the hollow interior of the foot. A luting line is evident around the mid-section of the foot. 5 3/8” diameter by 3 1/8” high. 19th century or possibly earlier. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs...

Chinese White Cinnabar Lacquer Box with White Jade Inlaid Plaque, 17th Century

It is 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) tall by 5.4 inches (13.7 cm) long and 4.6 inches (11.6 cm) wide. The jade is 3.57 inches (9 cm) long by 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide. The total weight is 1.1 Lb.

It has flea bite chips and inclusions at the jade, surface wears and scratches...

A Chinese snuff bottle made of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue with the demon-queller Zhong Kui and a bat. The stopper is made from brown glass with a bone spoon. Condition: the stopper with a small chip, the porcelain with few tiny black spots, traces of usage. Dimension: c. 8.8 cm high.

Chinese tomb pottery shrine decorated with Sancai glaze in yellow and green with red slip painted details. The shrine is sculpted with lattice doors and filigree roof.

Chinese antique group of 5 pottery court attendant figures and palanquin. Sancai glaze with green, yellow and black. The faces and hands are painted with slip. The palanquin is similarly glazed and has nice yellow drips.
