Hard porcelain vase. Cracked cream glaze. Enameled decoration representing a couple of Hô-Hô perched on a tree. Chinese work around 1900, but perhaps Japanese, imitating the Chinese famille rose. Amusing technical detail, if the whole vase is painted freehand, only the upper frieze representing the stylized clouds was executed with a stamp as for the Hixing, in order to obtain regularity, this is visible in a place where 2 clouds overlap.
Good condition. Height 33cm

The unusual decoration is in the style of the early 18th century, we think they are from the French Regency period, which would be confirmed by the very beautiful cobalt blue from the Kangxi period (+1722). One of the two dishes is slightly different from the other, less bright blue, less precise drawings and absence on the back of the two "brushstrokes"...

A small Chinese blue and white porcelain vase decorated with pagodas in a landscape, dating to the Kangxi period (1662-1722). The mouth and the lid are made of Dutch silver, dating to the 19th C., with sword and another silvermark. Condition: fine, only the lid with two small dents, few traces of age. Dimension: c. 17.1 cm height.
