Inquire for Price 1920's Chinese Solid Silver (tested silver with acid silver test kit) Dragon Candle Holder Wood Carved Stand Marked
It is 8.7 inches (22 cm) tall measured with stand by and 4.4 inches (11.3 cm) wide. It is 318 gram measured without stand. Reference:北京故宮雜誌《紫禁城2008.7》之《清宫的洋蜡》One arm has been reattached (resoldered). It is tarnished and has small chips at the wood carved stand and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)... An infrequently seen, lockable gilt silver casket, decorated with filigree plus blue and green enamel, made in Canton at the end of the 19th century. The top with two dragons among clouds chasing the flaming pearl, in the middle an empty monogram cartouche. The sides showing enamelled pagoda landscapes. The lock is working. Condition: little filigree work missing, traces of age and usage. Dimension: c. 12 x 8.3 x 6.6 cm, weight: c. 345 g.

Shell mounted on a silver base. Chinese work made for export? From memory I seem to recall that a pair of identical cups were presented at the V&A in the 90s. The shell is held by silver nuts in the shape of a butterfly, it rests on a grove of 3 silver bamboos. The whole rests on a finely worked wooden base. The other nuts are in the shape of clover. The whole is finely worked and chiselled. Beautiful finish. Extremely rare object. Very certainly end of the 18th century...
A set of five Chinese export silver serving pieces with beautiful pierced bamboo design. Each flatware with French import mark of a swan. Condition: traces of usage. The trowel's handle probably with a restaured area. Dimension: largest piece: c. 20.2 cm long and 6.6 cm wide. Total weight: 222 g.

Chinese Qing dynasty rectangular jade openwork plaque, carved with a design of a deer under a pine tree, mounted into the lid of an early 20th century rectangular silver box raised on four feet. Two-character “chun yin” (pure silver) mark to the bottom of the box. The jade has a pale celadon-gray hue. The box measures 3 1/2" long x 3” wide x 1 5/8” high. The jade plaque is 2 7/8” x 2 1/4." The total weight: 8.645 oz. Very good overall condition...
Three antique hexagonal Chinese silver cups decorated with figures, bamboo and plum twigs. Base marked "KC" and Chinese characters (according to Adrien von Ferscht: a silversmith active 1825-1900 in Canton). Two with original glass inserts. Dimension: c. 4.3 cm wide x 3.5 cm high, weight silver: 74 g. Condition: one glass insert lost, the other ones with small rim chips.

Straits Chinese silver hallmarked adjustable mesh belt with a three-part buckle decorated in low relief with a fish among flowers. The back of the buckle contains two hallmarks with Chinese characters (see enlargement 4). 19th century. High grade silver weighing about 8 oz. Measures 34" long from end to end. The three-part buckle is about 4 3/4" x 1 3/4." Very good overall condition with minor wear and a few tiny snags at the edge of the mesh...
