A pair very decorative Chinese shellwork and mother-of-pearl encrusted vases in the Grotto-style. The four sides with an engraved medaillon showing an elephant, dormice, rabbits or a deer. Wooden core and lacquered base. Condition: few missing shells, traces of age. Dimension: c. 18 cm height.

Chinese export porcelain stem plate, made for the Thai market. With polychrome decoration of Thepanom between two Norasingh, among foliage on a black ground, details of the deities in gold. Condition: good, rim with few color flakes, wear to the gilt (rim). Dimension: diameter: c. 13 cm, height: 6.9 cm.

An unusually small creamer, Chinese export porcelain from the Qianlong period, c 1770. Decoration in the European taste of scattered flowers, a thin lattice border and garlands. Height "3 1/3/ 8.5 cm. Condition: a professional restoration is visible near the beak where the decoration is restored with exactly the same enamels as the original (cf. pics).

Sparrow beak milk jug, Chinese export porcelain from late Kangxi or Yongzheng, early 18th century. Imari decoration: underglaze blue and overglaze red plus some gilt. The blue is clobbered - the way it is sometimes seen on the blue and white ginger jars with the classic cracked ice decoration - and the way the circular chrysanthemum flowers have been cut in halves shows Japanese influence. Height "4 ¾ / 12.2 cm. Condition: a hairline to the base of the handle.

Chinese Export coffee cup with underglaze blue decoration of a diaper border and peony, chrysanthemum and aster(?). Qianlong period, c 1760. Height "2 ½ / 6.5 cm. Condition: a 1 cm hairline to the rim (cf. pics).

A Chinese Export coffee cup, slightly ribbed and foliated, a rather unusual shape. Enameled decoration of flower garlands in European Rococo style. Early Qianlong period (c 1740), a give-away as for the age is a little flower in iron red and gold to each side. Height "2 ¼ / 6.2 cm. Condition: little black spots and two hairlines (cf. pics).

A Pair of Armorial Fitzhugh Saucer Dishes. The blue and white dishes with the addition of the Coat of Arms of Laurie. Jiaqing C1800. Diameter; 6 1/4″ (15.8 cm). Condition; perfect. See Howard ‘Chinese Armorial Porcelain’ Vol II, U7, P 539

A Chinese export plate from the first part of the 18th century, Yongzheng or early Qianlong. Decoration in Famille rose enamels of a large peony in bloom with an orange ribbon and some other scattered flowers, all surrounded by a thin diaper border in matte turquoise. The whole plate with a light greenish tint to the glaze. Brown-glazed rim. Diameter: / 22.8 cm. Condition: a few small spots of glaze wear to the well, otherwise fine.

An Export Mother of Pearl Thread Winder. Carved in relief on one side with a couple on a terrace and the reverse incised with a seated man and attendants. Chinese 1820/40. Length; 3 1/2" (8.8 cm). Condition; excellent.

A very rare and superb hand made genuine QING DYNASTY SILVER BOWL, with extensive open carving work and depicting the Dragons chasing the flaming Pearl. The base is stamped by a Chinese Hallmark: "SS, followed by a Chinese Character and 90, SUN SHING" as shown in one of the photographs, ca. 1900. Weight: 199 gr. excluding the inset glass bowl. Size: height 7.6 cm. x 13.5 cm. diameter. This silver bowl also has a later added glass inset bowl, which can be removed for easy cleaning!

Chinese miniature porcelain tea caddy with gold decoration. All the gold painting is intact and shows no wear which is pretty amazing. Dates mid to late 1700's, it is a fantastic little piece for the collector. In excellent condition, that is as originally made, the only imperfections are little pin pricks in the firing which is normal. This had a cork stopper which is inside the caddy. Measures 3" high x 2" wide x 1/2". Dates 2nd half 1700's.

Pair of parakeets resting on a rock. White hard porcelain, yellow enameled spouts and legs, black enamel details. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glaze, however the unglazed rock which is covered with a layer of brown lacquer. I don't know of any other other same parakeet listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty.Probably Chinese work from the Qing period. Good condition, lacquer worn in places...

Chinese Qing dynasty (19th century) export watercolor on paper painting titled “Chinese Junk.” A lone figure stands at the front of the junk tending to the sails. The heads of the rowers are barely visible. Originally purchased from or framed at Berry-Hill Galleries on 5th Avenue in New York. Recently reframed with archival materials and UV glass in a substantial gold leaf frame with silk mat and gold filet. Sight size: 16 1/4" x nearly 22” (frame: 23 1/2" x 29”)...

The lips and the circumference of the lid are underlined by a floral motif in blue underglaze arranged in a frieze, enhanced by gilding and punctuated by small cartouches. The golden handles remind a plant motif...
