Pair of parakeets resting on a rock. White hard porcelain, yellow enameled spouts and legs, black enamel details. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glaze, however the unglazed rock which is covered with a layer of brown lacquer. I don't know of any other other same parakeet listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty.Probably Chinese work from the Qing period. Good condition, lacquer worn in places...

Tiny porcelain covered jar decorated with plants in polychrome enamels. You can recognize a maple tree. Probably Chinese work of 18th century, but perhaps Japanese Arita late 17°. A very pretty frame in cast and gilded bronze signed by the prestigious Parisian goldsmith "Boin-Taburet". The mark stamped on the side of the bronze base.European frames generally weigh down the porcelain, but here this attractive discreet frame sublimates this pretty small pot. Good condition. Fine Large Chinese Qianlong 18th Century Imari Porcelain Dish

This fine-quality porcelain dish with attractive floral pattern in underglaze blue, red enamel and gilding, was made during the 18th century, most likely during the Qianlong reign (1736 - 1795). There is a brown iron wash around the rim edge to prevent "fritting" of the glaze during firing. There is no restoration or repair, no cracks and the dish has a good ring when tapped; it is in fine condition...

Extremely rare dish decorated in blue white, china late 18th century for export to Japan. The design is of high quality and the cobalt blue is perfectly fired. Deep blue color. The quality of the design is far superior to what we usually see on Chinese export porcelains and equals that of some imperial pieces. The decoration of the marli is particularly complex.
