This unusual and attractive porcelain dish was made in the 18th century during the Qianlong reign (1736 - 1795) of the Qing dynasty. It has a foliated rim and is attractively decorated with gilding and brightly coloured enamels. The decoration, in five parts, features various birds, ducks and flower blossoms. There is a band of gilding around the inner rim.

This is quite a large dish with a diameter of 25.5 cm (10 inches)...
