A Ming Inkstone was in simple rectangular form and was in decent look.
In characteristic Ming scholar mood, the inkstone was made from the unique Pudding stone.

A very rare and unusual large Chinese scroll painting done in the Japanese style of a bird in a cage with a bamboo tree and netting. Some gold leaf work on the leaves. The wooden weight on the bottom of the scroll has carved bone tips. Comes with original signed box. Age: 19th century. Size: L.213.5cm. W.44cm. Condition: Very good. No repairs.

A Chinese porcelain water dropper in the shape of a fish, made of Macang clay (麻倉土）and finished with light blue glaze. Ming Dynasty, circa late 16th century. Condition: kiln cracks on the bottom and under the fish's mouth, please see photos for detail. Length: 5-1/4".

A very rare portrait of the highest ranking official in the Emperor's court. This is based on the rank badge of the crane and the red hat. The painting is very intricate with a lot of gold work. The sleeves are painted with the heads of the Imperial Dragon and in the center there is a painting of the elusive flying pearl. The tips of the armrests and carved with the Linzhi mushroom...

Antique Chinese scroll painting of 100 birds, swooping, fighting, sleeping, and eating insects in and around a gnarled tree and rocks. Painted in ink on paper, signed Gao Wen Liang and with two seals. 60 years cyclical dating.  In our opinion this scroll dates from 18th century or older.

Massive scrolled late Qing dynasty Chinese ancestor portrait executed in ink and color on paper depicting a civil official and his two wives. The official is dressed in formal attire and is seated on an armchair draped with a tiger skin. A Mandarin rank badge showing the official’s rank in the civil bureaucracy is on the center front of his cobalt-blue surcoat. The long tail appears to designate the bird as a paradise flycatcher, indicating an official of the 9th rank...

A rare and beautifully built silver inlaid zitan wood tray with silver frame/base. The inlaid picture depicting four geese playing at a reed marsh. Late Qing Dynasty. Chinese hanging scroll ink rubbing of an ancient stone carving featuring Quan Yin. Rubbing dates early 2oth century. Rubbings of ancient stone carvings are illegal in China as the process damages the stone. In very good condition, the rubbing measures 39.5 inches x 21 inches. Scroll measures 30" x 56" and comes in a bamboo container.

A beautiful painting was done by the famous painter Su Turn-Jau.
It was kept very well in good condition and was newly framed.

A Chinese antique brush pot make of Huanghuali wood, late Ming Dynasty to early Qing Dynasty, 17th century. Condition: There are chips and age cracks, please study the photos for condition details. Height: 15cm, diameter: 15cm.

A pair of small bronze foo dogs or foo lions created by the lost-wax casting process, showing traces from the mold. Both have a wonderful warm patina and would make excellent brush rests for a calligrapher's or artist's detail brushes. In excellent condition, they measure about 2" long x 1.5 inches high.

A picturastic painting was done very well on wood in 19th century.
It was painted with mineral pigments and was kept nicely in aged mood.
No cracks or restorations were found.
It still needs a frame work to be as a hanging piece.

A Chinese small box made of zitan wood on the walls and huanghuali wood on the bottom. A very thinly carved jade cover decorated with a picture on top depicting a scholar holds a lotus flower walking under a pine tree in a rocky mountain.
