Chinese late Ming dynasty Wanli period kendi with a compressed globular body and mammiform spout decorated on the body in underglaze cobalt blue with flowers and scrolling foliage on a faintly blue-gray tinted white porcelain ground. Leafy peaches and ribboned lozenges decorate the spout and a band around the shoulder. The tubular neck, which flares to a wide disk shaped mouth, is painted with a stiff leaf band. The base is glazed and the foot rim is unglazed...

Circa 1500. Very good overall condition. From the estate of a former American expatriate to Hong Kong and China in the 1970s and 1980s.

A quite rare white glazed ewer, decorated with moulded incised flower sprays to the body and mouse handle. Condition with chip to the one ear of the mouse and large chip to the inner cover, no any crack and free from any restoration. Ming Dynasty 16th Century Zhangzhou ware. Height: 20 cm.

A rare blue and white dish decorated with Arabian Inscriptions to the center within double circle and plain to the cavetto, floral sprays to mouth rim. Underside also with floral sprays and six characters mark of Da Ming Wan Li Nien Zhe and of the period. Condition is good, hairline crack to the center visible on the last enlargement, no any chip and free from any restoration. Ming Dynasty 17th Century Wanli period. Diameter: 29,5 cm
