Description:

A black-glazed Jianyang Temmoko tea bowl was in nice form.
It was decorated in the covetto and partial of the outer surface with charming and rarely-seen oil spots.
The body clay was revealed at the foot ring in dry and grayish tint which was caused during long periods of burial.

A rare thinly potted and extremely well painted deep dish with exceptionally fine porcelain body. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Jiajing emperor (1522-1566) enclosed within a double circle but this item was probably made later, in the 16th/17th Century, during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619). Condition: there is production glaze loss (fritting) to the rim but no cracks or damages and no restoration...

An archaic style vase with crackle-glaze and simulated metal mounts. On the base is the apocryphal mark of the 15th Century (Ming) Chenghua emperor but this item was made much later , in the 19th Century, probably during the reign of the Tongzhi emperor (1862-1874) when this style was first introduced. Up for sale is a very rare large antique Chinese export round shape famille rose plate, hand painted and glazed, picture depicting an imperial family member wearing bright yellow robe together with other officials, total of 7 characters, and a little black and white dog in the lower right,18th century. Antique Chinese celadon stoneware bowl with green glaze. The bowl has subtle textures, the center has a faint lotus flower encircled by an incised line, the body has radiating lines from the center, the rim of the bowl is slightly recessed. It measures 14" in diameter, 5" tall. The base has an unglazed ring where it was fired in the kiln and the unglazed ceramic can be seen.

A larger than average ovoid jar (without cover) profusely decorated with Famille Rose enamels depicting stylized lotus scrolls enclosing two large panels and two small peach shaped panels. The panels are painted with peony, lotus and other flowers; one panel depicts an egret amongst water plants. This item was made in China in the late 18th or early 19th Century, circa 1790-1820 during the Qianlong or Jiaqing reign...

Chinese blue and white porcelain Incense Burner or censer, made in later part of 1800's to early 1900's' 3 3/8" high, 7 1/4" diameter, various style of bands in underglaze blue, unglazed area inside half way down to the bottom. Black ink writings on the bottom under the thick white glaze round dot, about 3/4" wide. No damage or restoration.
