The lid is domed and decorated with a lively five-clawed dragon floating in a sky with wisps of clouds and the flaming jewel. The bottom portion of the container is also decorated with a wave-like pattern and a Qianlong mark. Inside are still the colorful ink remnants from it's previous scholarly owner.

$2,000.00 Antique Chinese porcelain water coupe in the form of a pine branch. Whimsically sculpted with a gibbon hanging from it's handle. Glazed a lovely mauve color on the outside and a white glaze inside. Underside has Wang Bing Rong mark in a raised cartouche. Wang Bing Rong (1840-1900) specialized in carved decoration on porcelain and was active during the Tongzhi to Gunagxu Period.

SOLD Antique Chinese pair of porcelain bowls, glazed white and with detailed overpainting in orange and gold of dragons and flaming pearl. Each bowl has two five-clawed dragons on either side of the pearl. Eyes are green and black and every scale is finely outlined in gold. Daoguang (1821-1850) mark on the bottom.

This stoneware junyao bowl was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). It is heavily-potted and coated in a thick jun glaze. The colour of the glaze varies from a pale mauve to a yellowish-grey. The glaze falls short of the foot that remains unglazed and has fired to a pale yellowish-brown.
