A large 16th Century Ming Dynasty deep dish painted in underglaze blue with grape and vine decoration to the centre and with alternating flowers and buddhist emblems around the rim. The underside is painted with elongated prunus branches under the rim and with stylized peach branches to the inside. The base is unglazed. This item was made in China, probably for export, in the second half of the 16th Century, circa 1550-1600...

Very charming three figure ensemble of a king with two female attendants. One attendant holds a fan that moves. The male figure's head nods. They wear white and pink clothes with gold details. Measures 8" wide at base.

Delicate and rare Chinese Porcelain Polychrome Cachepot Planter with matching Base Saucer. Both have 4 Character Tao Kuang Period Markings (1822-1850). Planter has 2 holes for drainage. This rare piece, exquisitely suited for an orchid in bloom or special small plant comes with it's own fine and original hand carved rosewood stand as illustrated. A well carved yellow ground jar, with cover, depicting two confronting dragons amongst clouds and flames above breaking waves. The base carries the seal mark - Wang Bing Rong - and was probably made, circa 1910-1920, during the early Republic period. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration...

Diameter: 37 cm. China, 16th/17th century. Condition: age wear and rim fritting, no cracks or repairs.

Description:

A Longquan bowl was mold in decent Bo(elm bowl) shape.
It was applied on the surface with celadon bean-green glaze and was uniquely carved with willow leaves (Liutiao) patterns for decoration.
The darken firing tint was yielded at the bottom from where the body clay was revealed.
Foggy-look condition was observed in the glaze.

A Yaozhou bowl in the documentation was in the same willow leaves patterns.

Two very unique and richly painted Chinese porcelain hat stands of the late 19th century. Charming scenes of the traditional family relaxing in an open garden setting, the garments are painted in various bright colors against a backdrop of nature. Condition is excellent with no hairlines or chips, just some minor rubbing of the gold trim and very trace fading of the details, yet all details are distinct and complete. These measure 11" high x 4.5" diameter.

Chinese Qing dynasty Daoguang period (1821-1850) geyao type porcelain censer of compressed bombe form with thick flat rim and two animal-mask handles at the sides. The pale gray glaze, covered overall with the characteristic black and brown crackles, completely covers the interior of the censer and the exterior of the ringed foot and extends part way down the interior foot of the recessed unglazed base. Measures 5” diameter from handle to handle and stands 2 ½” high...

Two rare Chinese Song dynasty qingbai (yingqing) glazed porcelain dishes of chrysanthemum form with thinly potted bodies, an upturned rim divided into twelve lobed petals by vertical ribs, and flat, slightly concave unglazed bases. Circa 10th - 11th century. 4 1/8” diameter. There are a few tiny flea bites at the rim which are visible under magnification and there are a few old hairline cracks that appear to be stable...
