Chinese late Ming dynasty Wanli period guan form porcelain jar with wide shoulders tapering to a flat, unglazed base decorated in underglaze blue with lotus flowers and scrolling foliage on a white ground. A short, cylindrical neck ends with an applied light brown wash at the rim. The interior is fully glazed. A luting line is faintly visible at the waist and can be seen and felt on the inside. Chinese Porcelain turquoise color man Figure sitting on the rock, 3" high, 2 3/4" wide, 1 1/2" deep, made before 1920's. His nose and one(1) foot got stuck during firing in the kiln, when this figure was removed from the other object, he lost his side of nose and one(1) foot. Impressed mark "China" on the unglazed bottom.
