SOLD Antique Chinese monochrome jar with oxblood crackle glaze. The jar is a cylindrical form with small lid topped with knobbed finial. The interior of the jar is also glazed with a cream crackle. Rich, thick glaze drips along the bare foot. 19th century. Qianlong mark.

Large late Ming dynasty Wanli period blue and white kraak ware export porcelain deep charger with a foliated rim decorated in the center within an eight-pointed medallion with a jardinière on a stand holding a fruit, peony, and plantain leaf bouquet with a fence in the background. The central design is encircled by a moulded eight panel border on the cavetto with stylized peach branches alternating with Daoist symbols. The back is decorated with eight panels holding lingzhi within a circle...

Sold Chinese porcelain figure of Zhongli Quan, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. His attribute is a fan which is said to bring the dead back to life and turn stone into gold or silver. He wears an open robe with gilt accenting, and comes with a fitted hand carved hardwood stand.
Republic Period (circa 1930's).

Sold Chinese porcelain figure of Li Tieguai, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. He is temperamental but compassionate towards the sick and needy, who he heals using special medicine from the gourd he carries around his waist. He is shown here walking with a crutch, with a blue band around his head and gilt accented robes. Wonderful original Condition. Republic Period (circa 1930's).

Sold Chinese porcelain figure of Lan Caihe, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. Lan is usually depicted carrying a bamboo flower basket as seen here. Lan's gender is always shown in an androgynous manner. The figure's earholes, nostrils, and mouth are pierced through. The bright enamel robes are accented in gilt pigment. Hand carved Hardwood stand fitted to porcelain statue. Republic Period (circa 1930's)

Porcelain charger glazed in blue and white and copper red. Diameter 27 cm. Jiajing period (1796-1820). Some chips to the rim, but no cracks or repairs.

SOLD Antique Chinese Famille Rose porcelain brush pot with scenes of a pair of birds of paradise in a garden of peonies and chrysanthemums with butterflies flying about. It bears a seal on the base. It is attributed to Jia Qing. It measures 5.75" tall 5" wide at mouth, 4.75" at base.

SOLD Antique Chinese fine famille rose porcelain vase with landscape of mountains and lake. The vase is an elegant shape with defined calligraphy. This style of decoration was popular in the 1930s. The base bears the studio name: Yitao Zhai, similar in style to the Society of Eight Friends. Produced by Zhang Zhitang (1893-1971). It measures 14" tall x 6.5" wide.

An underglaze blue decorated porcelain coffee cup, painted with flowers and butterflies. This item was made in Jingdezhen, China, for export to Europe, during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795).
Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration.
5.5cm (2.2inches0 high; 6.5cm (2.5inches) diameter.
