Sold. Thank you. A blue-grey glazed pottery form of a large-eyed turtle. The turtle shell has relief patterns over which a glaze was applied.
Period: Song (10th - 13th Century, China) Size: Length = 5.5 cm from head to tail. Height = 3.8 cm Condition: Very good. No breaks. Natural crackle in the glaze from age.

$475.00 A realistically formed figure of a resting sheep. The sheep is the eighth Chinese zodiac sign. The hollow form has two glazes - an overall straw-colored clear glaze with a drizzle of amber glaze that drips over its left side. The glazes have now turned iridescent from age - the amber glaze has a golden sheen. Under magnification, the glaze has a very fine crackle which is consistent with pieces of this period.

A Chinese snuff bottle carved from green jade with relief decoration. One side showing a deer, the reverse with a peony. Both sides inscribed with gilt Chinese characters. The stopper is en suite, bone spoon. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension: c. 5.6 cm high.

$550.00 Antique Chinese framed blue silk embroidery which appear to be sleeve bands that are stitched together. The textile is decorated with two phoenix, two dragons, and Chinese seal script. All are hand applied using gold gilt wrapped threads. In excellent condition, measures 27" x 15" including frame. The silk measures 21.5" x 10". Dates circa 1900.
