$3,200.00 Covered vase in nuanced ocher jade, decorated in relief with a grinding wheel with Taotie masks. Very good quality of sculpture. The stone is probably fire-patinated to imitate the color of archaic jade as was usually the case in the Ming Dynasty. It is impossible for me to date such an object. It is old, probably from the 18th century but could be earlier. Good condition, except for a few dents on the lid that can be seen on an enlarged photo. Height: 12cm.
