A rare octagonal porcelain dish decorated in underglaze blue with a flowering bush by a rock, along the border stylized Chinese characters. The rim glazed brown, the base with three spur marks and a "fuku" mark within a double square. Dating to the early Edo period. Condition: well with little scratches, rim with 3 tiny frits and two chips, and one chip under the glaze (photo 8). Dimension: diameter: 20 cm, 3.2 cm high.

Antique Chinese blue and white glaze porcelain bowl, with a flower petal shaped rim and impressions of lotus petals near the base. It has cobalt blue designs of blooming cherry blossoms, chrysanthemums, and peonies on curved branches, and the image of a pair of birds. The bottom has a double ring and Kangxi period mark, as well as a sticker verifying the age of the piece from the Chait Galleries museum in New York. A mid Edo period carved woodn mask for Shishi-mai festival dance covered in red and black lacquer with gilded teath and eyes in rarely seen good condition. We like to offer you a rare Japanese Hagi Chawan called 'Gohon Chawan', made in the old Korean style from ancient times and dating from the mid Edo period.

Colour and glaze are equally rare and wonderful. We offer this fantastic chawan together with its Edo period wooden storage box and its cloth pouch called 'Shifuku'.

This Hagi Gohon Chawan has a split cross footring called 'warekodai'. Tea bowls of this style were favored by busho chajin (warrior tea men).

An absolutely stunning Edo period (1700s) Kuro Oribe Chawan covered in thick, ink-black crackle glaze and some fine cream colour with symbolic decoration.

It has an unidentified kiln mark.

The slightly irregular kutsu-gata form settles easily into the palm of the hand, with the built up rim resting lightly on the fingers. A high quality Japanese wood box is part of the offer.

Chinese Export Imari Porcelain Plate, 18th C. Qianlong period 1736-1795, 9" diameter, 1 7/8" high, with Peony flower branches in the center, within more floral branches decorated on the wide border, all the decorations are done with overglaze iron red on top of the underglaze blue, highlighted in gold. There are very tight glaze hairline under the plate about 2" long and another one is 3/4" long, and small chips 1/8" wide under the rim.

Wonderful 46 cm and 8,16 kg heavy Chinese bronze Guanyin Buddha from our Buddha collection, made in the 18th century.

The Guanyin (Kwan Yin) is wearing a long robe and is sitting with two hands hidden in the clothes, holding a reel. Very smooth and kind expression. Although the statue is hollow inside it is very heavy.

On her back marked the period of "Qian Long". A really very rare bronze collection, can't find from other places.
