A large and charming blue & white narrative vase, with accents of underglaze copper red. The figures portrayed represent the story of Liulang Zhiniu (the cowherd and the weaver maid), in which a humble cowherd falls in love with a fairy (the weaver maid). However, as love between earthly and heavenly beings are categorically forbidden...

This is a beautiful and unique Japanese Cloisonne box.The artist could have be one of at several but it looks like a piece from Inaba,Honda or Shibata. The box is about 50% larger than most boxes and has the same form as a Hayashi box I once had. The silk lining with the mums is exquisite. The box measures 6 inches by 4 1/4 inches and is 2 5/8 tall. The condition is excellent.

Three Chinese late Qing dynasty to Republic period robin's egg (called lu Jun, or "furnace Jun") glazed porcelain scholar's desk articles including a hexagonal form water pot with an applied qilong climbing on the side (about 3" diameter by 2 1/8" high), a ribbon bound triple-gourd vase with three openings (4 1/2" high), and a rectangular brush holder in the form of a stove (2 3/8"L x 1 3/4"D x 1 3/4"H). A new solid 18K. Gold link-chain bracelet set with 6 genuine cushion cut blue sapphires @ 3.62 ct. total weight and surrounded by 96 genuine brilliant cut diamonds @ 1.07 ct. total weight, with safety lock. Bracelet length is 7" inches.

A rare Straits Chinese fan case applied with tiny faceted rocaille glass beads on a green respectively yellow velvet ground, depicting auspicious symbols. Bordered with a woven band, with cotton ribbon and lining. Condition: very good, few glass beads are lost. Dimension: case: 32.2 cm long x 7.8 cm wide.
