130.00 Beautiful circa 600CE to 700CE Pyu coins. The larger coin has a srivatsa (temple), on one side and celestial symbol and rising sun, on the other- 1/2 unit sterling quality silver. This coin has been punctured and at one time had small silver loop soldered to it. The smaller one, also pierced, has a bhadrapitha – pedestal for a deity and srivatsa, and is from Sri Ksetra. ¼ unit D: 8mm. A rare Pyu carved green glass pendant with a figure of a man on the front and some writing on the back. Next to the glass pendant there are two small stone carved elephants. The rest of the necklace is made up of ancient gold and an assortment of gold and agate beads of the same period. Age: 100 - 500 AD. Size: 44cm end to end. Glass bead: H; 4.5cm W: 2cm.

Ancient beautiful well designed Pyu gold bead from the 5th century.These beads were made from natural occurring gold. When tested it is 22 karat gold with traces of silver and copper. Weight:4,84 grams Size: See last photo

A rare antique Vietnamese four-legged Censer from the Le dynasty. (Later Le Dynasty, Vietnamese Nha Hau Le, (1428–1788), the greatest and longest lasting dynasty of traditional Vietnam.) The white glazed ceramic censer has a cylindrical body with lappet band above molded trigrams. The vessel is raised on four zoomorphic supports. Provenance: Prominent private collection from San Diego, CA.

A very rare Burmese 17th Century excavated bronze Buddha with 5 Elephants on the base (3 on the front and 1 on each side). Good condition, naturally formed patina. No damage or restorations whatsoever. Size 14.5 cm x 5.5 cm (5.75" x 2.5"). This Buddha is elaborately adorned and very difficult to come by.

Rare Tibetan hand-painted lacquer altar cabinet. Original finish with patina. The front three panels depict three faces. The left face has red skin and green hair with eyes opened wide. The middle face is upside down with eyes coming out of its skull, representing the kapala or skull cup used in sacred Tibetan Buddhist ceremonies. The face on the right is called citipati, representing both the eternal dance of death as well as perfect awareness...

This type of Diety had it's influence from the Gandhara also was a jewel of Buddhist civilization.
