Unusual architectural element, carved in the form of a smiling man standing on the head of a water buffalo ("carabao"). This element was part of the decoration inside a house. Wood, semi glossy patina. Indonesia, Flores Island, mid 20th century. Height: 44 cm. The element is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Very good condition despite some remnants of insect infestation (no danger).

Porcelain vase. Decor of dragons chasing the sacred pearl, painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The ground is covered with an ochre-greenish enamel. Vietnamese work from the 19th century or before? The vase is very broken as shown in the photos. The broken neck has been replaced by a silver neck on which a stopper has been placed. Height: 24cm.

Finely cast statue of Buddha, in monk's robes, sitting cross-legged on a double lotus throne, his hands in bhumisparsa mudra. The lotus throne is nicely sculpted partly in openwork, on its lower part. Bronze, with fine age patina. Burma, Ava Style, 18th century. Height: 13 cm. Very good condition. A wonderfull pair of decorative pottery figures of seated Dignitaries or Officials, dating to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644.

Elderly men with beards, seated on chairs, with their right arms to the belt and the left to their knees. They are dressed in large dark blue and torqouis colored robes, with a dark blue hats on their heads.
