Antique Japanese triptych woodblock print, meaning it is comprised of three separate sheets, depicting Akechi Mitsuhide in the final battle of Yamazaki in 1582. He is shown seated upon his horse, which has been shot dead with arrows, clutching his sword and gazing over the river at the approaching enemy forces in the distance. Four of his own soldiers are seen scattered around, either dead or dying, soaked in blood, suffering traumatic injury...

An exquisitely formed Koro incense burner of a young oxherd astride his beast in raw clay and celadon glaze by Miyanaga Tozan I enclosed in the original signed wooden box dated 1925. The childs face is filled with serenity and wonder, as if he is looking up at the moon rising on a spring afternoon. Every detail is superb. It is 10-1/2 inches (26.5 cm) long and in excellent condition. Miyanaga Tozan I (1868-1941) is one of the most important names in Kyoto ceramics...

Chinese Shiwan (Shekwan) pottery model of a Daoist Immortal, holding a fan and seated on a large gourd. The figure resembles Li Tieguai, who ordinarily is depicted with his staff and often carrying a gourd which was believed to contain medicine powerful enough to revive the dead. The figure holds a fan, the main attribute of the immortal Zhongli Quan (Han Zhongli). The fan is believed to have the power to revive the dead. Perhaps the figure is an amalgam of the two immortals...
