An antique Japanese bamboo basket made for Ikebana flower arranging. Depicts an archaic Chinese bronze vessel with flared open mouth design with side handles. The weave of the body suggests the pattern that would have imbued if this were a bronze form. Base is a six pointed foot with maker's sign that reads Sarihen.

Dark embers cling to this organic bottle form vase by Tsujimura Shiro marked on the side with his signature. It is a superb example of his work. The vase is 17 cm (6-1/2 inches) tall, 12 cm (4-3/4 inches) diameter and in excellent condition. There is no box.

An very pretty, oblong Iga vase for tokonoma presentation with compressed body and a long, trumpet-shaped neck. Two small ears on the side. Partly covered (upper part) with a running, olive-green glaze. Signed. Artist unidentified (see photo). Vintage. H 23.5 cm. Condition: Perfect.

A very large porcelain basin decorated with gold and red fish among green, gold and red flora by Miyagawa (Makuzu) Kozan enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Gosu-Aka-e Sakana no Zu Hira Bachi. Inside the box bears the Teishitsu Gigein seal, followed by an annotation denoting the artist age at 75 years old. After a long verse which also appears to be by the hand of Kozan it is dated 5th day, 5th month of Taisho 6 (1917). It is 38 cm (15 inches) diameter and in excellent condition...

A striking Tenmoku Vase by maser of the genre Kamada Koji enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Ginsho Tenmoku Hyo-gata Kabin. It is 15cm (6 inches) diameter, 31cm (12 inches) tall and in excellent condition. Kamada Koji (sometimes written Kamata) was born in Kyoto in 1948, and apprenticed under Shimizu Tadashi from the age of 19. In 1971 he graduated from the Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Research facility and began teaching there while beginning his research into Tenmoku ware...
