$325.00 Japanese Imari Porcelain Lunch box/Jubaco with three(3) compartment with lid, 7 3/4" high with lid, 5 1/2" diameter and 2 1/8" high, 5 1/2" diameter for each compartment, Ca. 1920, decorated with typical Imari colors with character of "Happiness". Two(2) flake shallow enamel chips in red character area which is normal wear and tear over the years, overall in good condition.

A pair of Wooden doors dating from the later Meiji to Taisho period of fine clear grained panels hand-painted with butterflies, birds, and floral dials in brilliant color by Maruyama Oyo in red lacquered wooden frames retaining the original brass hardware. They are made for an opening 141.5 x 180 cm (55-3/4 x 71 inches). They are in overall fine condition. These were acquired from a large estate along the Kamiyagawa River in Kyoto’s posh Kinugasa district...

SOLD Japanese three-section kimono tansu made from kiri wood, its mid and bottom section has five long drawers with round metal lockplates that slide open to reveal a keyhole, and two warabite handles adorned with flora. The topmost section of the tansu has two smaller drawers with a single handle each, topped with two sliding panel doors, opening to a shelved interior and two more small drawers with adorable twin fish handle pulls.

SOLD Antique Japanese scroll with silk embroidery. Scroll shows a mystic and tranquil view of Mount Fuji floating among the clouds. Three separate scenes are painted in a vertical flow, with the very peak of Mount Fuji at the top, and a flowing river at the foreground. Signature of Kano Tsunenobu (1638-1713). Provenance Prominent Arkansas Estate.

SOLD Antique Japanese gyosho bako, or merchant's box, with iron rings and a smoothed carved indentation on one side so that it may be carried comfortably on a person's back. It has an interesting signature branded on its front door, and its side has the branded mark of a trio of leaves. The front door locks closed, and opens with a kan (ring) pull to an interior with four long drawers. Kanji seal, Edo Age c1800.

$1,295 DESCRIPTION: A large and handsome Sumida Gawa vase with ribbed body, high relief figures and pinched neck. A thick, traditional flambe' glaze in dark brown and blue covers the mouth and neck, and flows down the shoulders. Fine attention to detail has been paid to the handmade figures of a boy and girl standing on ledges against the ribbed body. Inoue (Ryosai) maker's mark in pear-shaped appliqué on the back. Early 20th C. (pre WWII) and in perfect condition; no chips or repairs...

Price on Request Pair of antique Japanese dolls of a standing onna-bugeisha (female samurai) and her travel companion kneeling at her side, holding her bundled baby. The onna-bugeisha holds a large bow with a quiver of arrows on her back. Both dolls are ornately dressed in silk robes and body armor, with fur shoes and real feather arrows. Each doll has its own wooden box, one of which has Japanese writing on its lid. Late 19th century
